Albert G. Miller (1906-1982)

American author, radio and TV scriptwriter and playwright. He is, to horse-lovers, most famous for his adaptation of the highly popular, if not iconic, American children's TV series of the 1950s and 60s in which a boy forms a bond with a wild black horse called Fury. Certainly the show and the books are now much more famous than the author, and Albert Miller's three Fury titles were added to by many more books written by other authors including Troy Nesbit. I have included some of these other books on this page, although there are many more whose details I am still researching.

Apart from the Fury books Mr. Miller also wrote a number of children's books, both fiction and factual, including many other adaptations of films and TV shows, such as Bambi, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and even the Muppets!
